3D FROM 2D
Turns out the fastest way to get 3D composites out of a printer is to build a 2D process into it
The Thinking Behind the Design
We set out to address some of the major pain points surrounding conventional manufacturing. But instead of looking to improve upon existing 3D printing methods, we decided to develop a completely new process—a radical thought, we know.
Our patented CBAM process leverages high-speed 2D graphics technologies and is specifically designed for volume production of composites. CBAM uses long-fiber, reinforced sheets of carbon or glass fused with thermoplastic powders to make high-performance composite parts like never before.
